Galatians 1:6-10

We live in an age of religious tolerance, pluralism, and confusion. Many people believe that one religion is just as good as another. “We may be taking different roads, but they will end up at the same place,” is the popular thinking of today. Just like the Galatians of old, we need to be reminded that there is no other gospel than the gospel of grace.  Galatians 1:6-10 can be boiled down into three statements that declare, “grace is the only good news (gospel).”

  • To move away from the gospel brings confusion, vv. 6-7.
  • To lead astray from the gospel brings condemnation, vv. 8-9.
  • To stay anchored in the gospel brings commendation, v. 10.

To believe in salvation through Jesus alone may bring the world's frown; but it also brings the favor of God!
