Galatians 4:4-7
Jesus: The Real Star of Christmas

All over the world there are manger scenes, Christmas productions, choir cantatas, and children’s programs portraying the first Christmas. The cast is in place — Mary & Joseph, the shepherds, the angels, and perhaps even the villain Herod. Most importantly is the Star of any Christmas portrayal, the Christ Child.

Rather than looking at the historical account of the Savior’s birth, today we will look at the theological significance recorded in Galatians. Three important truths surround the coming of Jesus into the world.

• He arrived at just the right time, v. 4a.
• He appeared in just the right way, v. 4b.
• He accomplished just the right thing, vv. 5-7.

God has done His part: “In the fulness of time God sent forth His Son.”
Have you done yours?
