2 John 1-11

The New Testament uses a very descriptive word to describe the conduct of your life. It's the word "walk." Many translations correctly render that word "live." Just as walking is making progress step by step, so living is making progress day by day, hour by hour, even minute by minute!

In 2 John, the Scriptures give the last occurrence of "love one another." It occurs in the context of a commandment-the 11th commandment and in the context of walking-living the 11th commandment. In this little book we discover the twin motives of truth and love combined. We truly live when we truly love. There are three features of truly loving that lead to truly living:

1. We truly love when we __________ the truth.

2. We truly love when we __________ the truth.

3. We truly love when we __________ the truth.

Scripture:

Ephesians 4:15

Philippians 1:9-10

John 14:6

Jesus declared, "I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life." Do you know the truth?
